If someone were to
tell you that he or she would give you $80.00 for each $40.00 that you give him
or her, what would your initial reaction be? You would first hesitate and then ponder the situation to
see what the catch is or what that person is up to. Even though it might sound
too good to be true, your internal dialogue is going to eventually get the best
of you and convince you into indulging in this game of chance because you know
that would be the easiest $40.00 you’ve ever made in your entire life. And you
also know that nothing ventured, is nothing gained.
Now, let’s leave
the land of fantasy and make believe and fast-forward to the real world. You’ve
probably read a few Facebook posts and Blogs written by me in my quest to gain
new recruits for my Motor Club of America Associate Representative team. And in
those Posts and Blogs I’m essentially painting the same picture that I’ve
painted in the opening paragraph of this Blog. Simply put, the Motor Club of
America will give you $80.00 for each $40.00 referral that you make on the
company’s behalf. I can’t make it any simpler than that.
The only thing you
will be doing that can be considered “work” is introducing a service to people.
The service essentially sells itself because there is not one other motor club
out there that can compete with all the benefits that it offers. A plethora of
benefits that goes far beyond the traditional roadside assistance that motor
clubs are commonly known for. What’s going to make your role even easier as an
associate rep is the fact that you already have a VERY LARGE customer base and, with today’s technology, various
means of tapping into that base.
The last census
taken in the year 2000 shows that there were 190,625,023 licensed drivers in
the United States. Now, in 2012, I am certain that those numbers have reached
beyond the 200 million mark. The
good thing about those numbers is that the group between the ages of 35-44
comprises the largest percentage of drivers, and it is that age group that
would more than likely be prime candidates for an auto club membership. So you
have a target group that is basically waiting for someone to come along and
introduce to them an opportunity of a life time where they can not only be a
member of a motor club that offers stability and peace of mind, but a great
fail proof business opportunity as well.
Even armed with
this statistical information and the knowledge of how to plant seeds into its
fertile fields and make it yield a harvest of riches, I know a large percentage
of you are still going to elect to remain amongst the P.O.O.R. (P)eople (O)verlooking (O)pportunities
(R)epeatedly because you have not learned the second spiritual law of success,
which is the law of giving and receiving. Money, our medium of exchange, is
totally subject to this law. That is why it is called “currency”. Currency is
rooted in the word “CURRENT” and is defined as something that flows back and
forth. When you impede the flow of an electrical current what happens? There is
no power. When you impede the flow of water currents what happens? The life
that it sustains dies. The common denominator here is that when you prevent
your money (currency) from flowing for you, it is going to eventually flow for
someone else because it’s nature is to flow to and fro.
The most common
and absurd excuse I’ve heard so far is “I don’t have a car to get around in”.
Where can a car take you that a computer can’t? We are not asking you to hit
the road like the traveling salesmen of the sixties and seventies. Technology
has brought the corporate world from brick and mortar to click and order. So,
from the comfort and convenience of your home, you can build your business one
brick—I mean one click—at a time.
Now, with all of
that being said, the choice is yours, and the pleasure is mine to either help
you realize and accomplish your dream, or leave you asleep and move on to the
next person who have an earnest desire to be awakened to financial freedom.
